In our many years providing your service, it is clear that the importance of good and reliable software continues to grow. There is an increased complexity, not only in business processes, but also in compliance with laws and regulations. Software must continue to meet these needs. This requires continuous active development and ongoing investment in the desired and necessary functionalities and technology pertaining to it.
To ensure that our services continue to meet and exceed that need, both now and in the future, we have reviewed our current packages and have devised a new structure for these going forward. Starting this summer, this new structure will bundle the software we offer and our service contracts into package options, allowing our clients to have better management and transparency of these and allowing us to streamline and connect all our services and software together in a better way. WinTree CONNECT 2019
As you may know, each year we release a new WinTree® version. In recent years, these version updates have included, on average, 100 innovations per year. In the past year alone, we have invested in extra capacity and expertise to not only improve the functions within our software, but also to update the underlying technology and its stability. From this summer, we introduced the new combination of WinTree® software and the associated service contracts as "WinTree® CONNECT 2019".
Investments in functionalities in WinTree® CONNECT 2019
In summary, please find below several important elements we have addressed:
- European legislation and regulations pertaining to "The Plant Health Regulations", coming into effect from 14 December 2019, has led to some necessary changes in the design and use of functions within WinTree®. These improvements ensure full traceability of products throughout WinTree®, as efficiently as possible and with the required plant passport being available in accordance with these regulations.
- TreeCommerce® Messenger 2.0 brings with it new functionality, making it possible to import data directly from your authorised contacts. This not only saves a lot of time but reduces the chance of manual data entry error and duplication.
- The WinTree® App facilitates more effective collaboration between the office and the external environment on the nursery, with the customer, supplier or colleagues in remote sites. New techniques and functionality - on your mobile devices.
- Numerous other innovations that make a major contribution to efficient working within the software.
- Management Insight: A step forward in the display, reporting and availability of data and management information.
What is the new package and service contract structure?
From July 2019, WinTree® CONNECT 2019 will be available to our customers in the form of the "Green", "Blue" and "Gold" packages. These packages are not only more comprehensive, but they are clearer and simpler, too, thanks to the bundling of similar modules that combine and complement each other. This is particularly important, for example, to address the handling of the new plant passports. In addition, a standard App license is included in the service contract, just like a company account for TreeCommerce® Messenger 2.0. All underlying technology required for this is encompassed in WinTree® CONNECT 2019.
Transition to WinTree® CONNECT
Your current maintenance contract will be terminated as the contract reaches its expiry date. Thereafter, your package will automatically be converted to the best fit within WinTree® CONNECT, according to the latest information we hold. This will also take into account any additional modules to which you subscribe. Each company will receive further details about WinTree® CONNECT 2019. an Each company will receive an explanation of how and when you can perform the installation. The transition to the new WinTree® CONNECT 2019 package structure for your business software will then be completed automatically.
